DESCRIPTION:Join Tètpwav Soley & PwavKAP for an afternoon of kite-making in this hands-on class!\nPwavKAP (Keep Art Poppin) will lead families in the traditional art of Haitian kite-making to teach youth basic geometry concepts while connecting with a piece of Haitian culture. Ten families will learn the stages of making the kite from skeleton to decoration\, using participants’ own shapes and designs! \nEnjoy storytelling open to all before participants head outdoors to fly their kites. \nSaturday\, December 14th\n2-4pm\nBrooklyn Children’s Museum\n145 Brooklyn Ave\, Brooklyn\, NY 11213 \nAs a special offer for the HCX community\, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum is offering FREE admission for 20 people.\nLimit 3 tickets per family.
