Join Haiti Cultural Exchange on Thursday, January 4th for Mizik Ayiti! First Thursdays for Haiti X New York featuring Junior Racine Mapou & Markus Schwartz.

The evening will start with an artist talk with Jérôme Siméon aka “Junior Racine Mapou”, recollections from his 25-year career as drummer/drum-maker with Azor (Lenord Fortuné) and Racine Mapou d’Haiti, followed by a live drumming demonstration performance featuring Junior Racine Mapou & Markus Schwartz.
