Bring your “little artists” for an afternoon of creativity hosted by HCX at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.

2-4 pm
Saturday, March 9th

This event’s guest teacher is artist Maxine Montilus!

Ti Atis (Little Artists) engages youth of Haitian descent and their peers with Haitian history and heritage via the arts, giving young people the tools to build an inclusive and culturally informed future as they learn about diverse art forms from professional Haitian artists.

In this dance workshop, you’ll explore traditional Haitian dance forms whose ancient roots trace back to Africa and whose unique identity was shaped through a rich history of cultural exchanges in Haiti. You will learn how to embody the polyrhythmic elements of Haitian dance and music as well.

As a gift to our email subscribers, we’re offering you the opportunity to sign up for a free ticket. Sign up Today (link in our footer). Ti Atis is included with the cost of entry to the museum. Get a ticket to the museum here »
