× VIZYON ATISTIK

Vizyon Atistik is a unique opportunity to expand the visual arts presentation of Haitian emerging and established artists from Haiti, the diaspora in New York City, and around the world.

Vizyon Atistik presents curated exhibitions highlighting contemporary, heritage-based, and modern work in all mediums in the HCX Gallery located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Engagement programs offer opportunities to hear from exhibiting artists and curators through talk-backs, guided tours, and workshops, deepening alignment with HCX’s wider programming.

The Vizyon Atistik Artist Residency is a new initiative that provides visual artists of Haitian descent an intimate space to showcase works or share integral aspects of their practice or works-in-progress. Artists facilitate public-facing art-making workshops and talks. Vizyon Atistik encourages artists to view these exhibition opportunities as a way to receive feedback and generate conversation around an already existing body of work that they wish to expand or current works-in-progress.
