On Saturday, February 10th, Haiti Cultural Exchange hosted its monthly series Ti Atis Second Saturdays at Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
Special guest teacher, Harry Abilhomme, held the workshop “Haitian Carnival in Brooklyn” at Brooklyn Children’s Museum where participants learned about the city of Jacmel, a pillar of Carnival, and many of the artistic aspects of this important time on the island while creating their own masks for Carnival!
Harry Abilhomme is also Haiti Cultural Exchange’s Vizyon Atistik artist for February 2024.
