On Thursday, February 1st, 2024, Haiti Cultural Exchange hosted it’s monthly series Mizik Ayiti! First Thursdays at their home base of Five Myles Gallery featuring the Reggae, Ska and Jamaican dup poetry stylings of Tjovi Ginen!
Featuring Daniel Laurent on lead vocals, Ferai on vocals, Atibon Nazaire on percussion, Lovell on percussion, Oscar Debe on drums/percussion, Ian Evans on keyboard, Monvelyno Alexis on guitar, and Yoham Chiqui Ortiz on bass. This performance is a tribute to Ralph Gasparello, founding band member and bass player.
